Cable and Puff Stitch Purse from my Online Class

This month I taught an online class here on how to make this Cable and Puff Stitch Purse that I designed. My sister has insisted I make these as Christmas presents for all the women in our family.

 

Here is the purse I made for my mom, complete with lampwork beads made by my sister. Julie made me one large bead today to use as a button to close the flap, but it's still in the kiln! So I'll get it tomorrow and sew it on, and the purse will then be totally finished.

Thanks, everyone! I have two more of these purses to make, at least!

 

I'm also working on a crocheted version of a Dooney and Bourke leather satchel because I liked the shape of it. We'll see how close I end up getting!
