crochet with 2 strands HELP

Recommended Posts

I am going to make a project with sugar and cream :c9

I bought a HUGE BALL of it on sale

The pattern calls for working with 2 strands at once

What is the best way to do that when I only have one ball?

I don't want to buy another ball. :think

Put your heads together now, my friends, and give me a hand with the best way to do this!! Thanks!!!!! :hook

well i think the only way you are going to be able to do this is to roll half of the "huge ball" you have into a smaller ball. and if you can roll it into a center pull ball it will be so much easier!

of course your other option besides buying another one is to do the project with just one strand!

good luck

This is why I love my ball winder. You will need to reroll about half the yarn unless you want to use Janet's method. I think hers may work well with the Peaches and Cream because it doesn't usually tangle up the way some yarns do.

I never rewind - I just take a strand from the center and the one from the outside and off I go!!!

Good luck :cheer

I don't think that will work with a cone. I think you'd end up with a big mess, and nobody wants that.
