I used this pattern

but didn't have any Moda Dea yarn so I used WW which made a nice collar.

Take a look and let me know what you think. Is Moda Dea a bulkier yarn???

I think yours turned out lovely! Yes, Moda Dea's Swerve yarn is a super bulky yarn, so that is why you have such a size difference between yours and theirs. If you want it larger, try using two strands of your worsted weight yarn held together. If you ever have doubts as to what weight a yarn it, check www.yarndex.com. That site has an extensive collection of yarns listed.

You did a great job and I love the colors of your yarn. What yarn did you use?

Thanks so much-I figured that the yarn was bulkier. Nonetheless, I got another nice item, so I have marked in my crochet journal that it makes a nice collar if you use worsted weight. The pattern works up very easily and is a joy to do. Glad you liked it and thanks for the link-that will be a huge help!

I used Caron Wintuk blue/green ombre. Bought the yarn many years ago when I worked at Hobby Lobby and am trying to bust some stash so am using up yarn by making prayer shawls, etc so I can justify replacing my stash with more luxurious yarns lol!!!

i also make this pattern. i used woolease chunky but it came out small. i ended up frogging it, but using 2 strands sounds like a good idea. why didn't i think of that.
