  1. Any mile a minute pattern. I've done 3 of them now and every time I have a really tough time figuring out where to put the stitches when I turn the corners.
  2. Well we've been waiting nearly 2 years to be pointed to the pattern so I've nearly given up hope but if anyone else knows where this pattern or something similar might be found, I'd love to know.
  3. Ohhhh Darski, that is so gorgeous!!! I love the way that would stay on. Now that classes are done for me until after Thanksgiving, I actually have time to work on some things!!!
  4. Ohhhhhhhh I love both of these but the flowered one is totally speaking to me!!!! I'm still trying to work on scarves but the homework, class, and tutor schedule are killing me. Still plugging away. I plan to do some catching up over the short break between quarters lol!!!
  5. Hi everyone, I haven't been around much, between having had an emblation, work, and school but I'm still trying to finish my April scarf. I wanted to say thank you to all of you who held me up in prayer; it is sooooo appreciated. I'm dealing with a good deal of depression right now; too many things going on and not enough time to just restore myself but I'm working on it.
  6. Ohhhhhhhhh I love the colors in this one!!!! You do such beautiful work!
  7. Thanks Darski, Right now about the only thing that keeps my mind from racing is crocheting so if I could make some progress that would be good. I have a 2nd opinion scheduled for this Friday and will make my decision from there. It is so great to be amongst such a community of friends. You are all just wonderful.
  8. Yep I was at work for both the tornado and the fire so it's been nuts! I do believe that I will be having the surgery and getting the worry over with. As a breast cancer survivor, I would rather lessen the pain and chance of recurrence, etc. Thanks for the hugs.
  9. Hi gang, Well since I frogged my scarf completely out last night (the yarn did not lend itself well to the pattern) and started a different scarf, I will not have a submission for March but am drooling over all of yours!!! School (algebra) is kicking my butt so my crochet time keeps dwindling more and more. Add to that a fire and tornado at my workplace in the same week and finding out that I have fibroids and the drs. recommending surgery and I am off track quite a bit lol!!! I need a long vacation with no deadlines so I can just crochet away.
  10. Absolutely gorgeous esp in peach!!!!!!
  11. Cool; I think I need a set for ME lol!!!!! I have some mint green Simply soft so I think a green will turn up soon; if not this month. . .
  12. The hat in the pic with the mists of avalon scarf; it's gorgeous!
  13. Where oh where did you find the hat pattern or is that one of your designs? I love the look of it!!
  14. It has a nice drape with the dc; I was just wondering about the sturdier fabric. I have some Homespun coming in a swap pkg soon so I think I will give the hdc a try and find out what I like best.
  15. That is interesting and the month that comes to mind for me is May; the ladder to success lol!!
  16. Here is my latest scarf. This one was requested by my hubby - he chose the yarn, Homespun in Regency and I made it for him. I believe that the next time I make a Homespun scarf, I will use hdc instead of dc because I believe it will make for a nicer fabric. He loves it! http://picasaweb.google.com/boogeebutt/12ScarvesOf2009Challenge?feat=directlink#5308324865093199858
  17. I love, love, love the cowl; that color is gorgeous. It's interesting to see the Mists of Avalon interpreted by someone else and the set is beautiful. I love the hat especially. You did a great job, my friend. I finished my Feb scarf last night but didn't get around to posting the pic until today so I guess it will be my March scarf.
  18. Absolutely gorgeous!!!!!!!! Thank you so much for sharing!!! :manyheart I have a brand spanking new step-niece to crochet things for and I'm starting this ASAP
  19. I'd love to hear more about this pattern Darski!!! I've done a picot shawl in the past and loved it so pineapples and picot-ooohhhhhhh 2 of my favorite things!!!
  20. welcome!!! I have wayyyyyyy too WIPS and not enough finished objects.
  21. hey is that you Susan????? Welcome!!!! It's Paulissa
  22. I can never find anything I'm looking for on their site; the search feature leaves lots to be desired.
  23. I went; unfortunately none of the friends who committed to doing this with me showed up and most didn't bother to call me either:blush ; I could have saved the gas, stayed home, drank my coffee, listed to music and chilled lol. Still, it was very neat being amongst a large group of people with a common goal. http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/I0YE2ZO_76dBMzJdm5tofA?feat=directlink http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/UqcUllfLWeM3lZmY0CnOsQ?feat=directlink
