FO - Mason Dixon Dishcloth

I finished this dishcloth this past weekend. The pattern is from the Mason Dixon knitting book. I used Sugar and Cream 100% cotton. I thought this was a great exercise in changing colors and carrying the alternate colors up the edge of the row. It also allowed me to work on my purling but not so much that I got frustrated. I also learned to slip a stitch purlwise, which now is not a big deal but to a new knitter seemed weird, at least to me. I really enjoyed this project and it is very easy for a new knitter.

I've made a few of those recently and I love them. I even like to do a sc crochet edging on the sides. Love to get the crochet in with my knitting

I have that book and I have yet to get up the courage to try any of the patterns...I'm a wimp. But I really want to make that baby kimono!

That looks great!! I love that pattern, it's my current favourite! I bought the book, but you can get the pattern for free here at this site if you don't have the book. There are some other cute patterns in the book as well.
