TOTC disaster

My *by the couch* crochet bag spilled over while I was at work today. Mom scooped it up.. but failed to notice that Katrina (my TOTC K hook) was still on the rug.

 

Later, after nieces and nephews had been here for awhile, she noticed the hook... in two pieces. Someone (no idea who.. but does it matter?) had stepped on it. And being a delicate piece of equipment... it snapped - right at the skinny decorative spot.

 

I'm sad... but it does give me an excuse to go shopping for another one.

Oh no I saw some gorgeous ones on ebay they were all stripy colored wood OOOh:drool I haven't bought any of the wood ones yet just because I'm afraid of that, but I'm like that even if they are really tough that's just me.

Oh dear. One of my Brittany hooks got broken, probably by a little one.

 

Hope you can get a new hook soon. I really like my TOTC hooks.

I haven't bought any of the wood ones yet just because I'm afraid of that

with any hook if you step on it its going to break.. plastic.. wood.. metal even .. so i dont uderstand the hestitation.. accidents happen .. i have seen metal hooks snap under extrordinary circumstance..
