Just gorgeous! I had the same problem when traveling by car since the air is always on and blows directly on me. I ended up making a half-moon shawl for my purposes. I love the stitch pattern you used too.

Went to our local wool shop today but they do no tstock Bernat yarn but did get a lovley shade of green in an italian yarn merino dk yarn but the woner did not understand the above patter so felt a wee bit obliged and bought the poncho the had in a sirdar crochet .Should have been funky fur a bit itchy for me so decided on this nice dk.

 

Shall post photo when I get further.Really like the shade of green.

I finally got a pic with me in the poncho. I took this in the airport Monday on my first leg of this trip. It worked GREAT! if I turned it slightly sideways when I sat down, I kept my arms covered and warm and most of my legs covered from the cold wall of the plane. I would smile, but I wasn't looking forward to this trip.... that and I was trying to pay attention to what I was doing
