I used the basic pincushion cupcake pattern to make these sport cupcakes for a friend's birthday. I found the candles in a dollar store.

Here's another pattern that you can make that is a cupcake gift box. I was thinking that would be a fun idea for birthdays in my office.

Those are so cute! And thanks for the link to the cupcake gift box. I made something similar to that up a few years ago, but couldn't quite get the lid part. I like that idea. I think I might make some for my nieces. Thanks for sharing.
