Raynee's Ghan

Here's a pic of a ghan I made a about 7 years ago for my daughter. It's made from woolease and various scraps. No pattern - just experimented with stitches as I went along... this image is clickable and there are detail shots at my blog.

Thank you... I think she would've preferred a purple ghan but back in the days when this was made, our budget was really tight and there was this heather black woolease on sale and I had a lot of scraps.

 

Little does she know, but I stocked up on purple SS the other day. All I have to do is finish:

I like it. I'm not ready to take on an afghan yet, but I'd like to make one like that. I don't have the patience for planning and following patterns.
