Some of My Latest Dyeing Escapades LOL

Wow, it's been so busy here for me...new job, back went out and then a cold/flu so I haven't been in the forums for ages! Anyways, wanted to share a bit of my latest dyeing escapades with everyone...in my attempts to capture spring colours... I haven't been able to pick up my hook or needles to do any crocheting or knitting but in my book, dyeing yarn makes me feel like I did something fibre-related too...

I LOVE the colors! The one with the browns and golds and purples is to die for. So are the light pink and brown ones in the same basket. I love them.

I used a 100% merino handwash yarn and the dyes are acid dyes, so yes, chemical...LOL

Wow Roxanne! Those are fabulous! So much better than anything I have seen in stores! Could you help out some of us beginners and describe your process to us? How do you get those lovely variagated yarns?
