Poncho for Granddaughter Mia

I used Baby Alpaca Wool cause it is soooo soft.

I did have to modify the pattern, when I made the original panels, the length wasn't long enough to join together in the back. I had to add 3 inches to each panel in the aftermath..(not fun). I am going to try it on her this week, before it warms up in Southern California!

you crochet beautifully where did you find the dog sweater pattern? I have a rat terrier too. I like my bedroom cold. So my poor boy is always shivering , or hiding under the blankets lol..

That poncho is really beautiful. I love the yarn you chose - the pale pink alpaca looks absolutely divine and the subtle strips of novelty yarn give the garment a designer look. Really nice.

For the compliments. Mia adores her poncho, and noone can believe how soft it is. Just the Alpaca cost 45$...I believe this is one of the more expensive projects I have made!!
