Have you seen the new skirt pattern? It is so nice, hairpin lace. I am contemplating learning this technique to make the skirt, it is awesome!

I saw it earlier this morning for the first time. I like it...especially the picture of it in all black. I don't know hairpin, but I've heard it isn't too difficult.

Yes, I'm drooling over this skirt. I'm learning hairpin lace to do their cardi-wrap for the Crochet Olympics. It'll be a tremendous feat, so wish me luck

That IS a lovely skirt, and I bet once you got comfortable with the hairpin lace it wouldn't take that long to make.

I made a hairpin lace scarf once... very easy and fun, once you get the hang of it! If you want a simple scarf pattern using this technique, go to the free patterns on my webpage (in my signature).

Wow! That is gorgeous! My mom taught me hairpin lace when I was about 10. It's fairly easy and works up pretty fast once you get a rhythm going. Thanks for sharing the link...yet anoter one to add to my to-do list!
