ok i think i finally figured out how to do this...

 

i'm shauna, salem's my cat (and where i wanna live one day).

 

i've been crocheting for a number of years, just not all that often due to funds and time. mostly i've done afghans, slippers, scarves & hats. i made two ponchos for my MIL last fall and a gorgeous shawl for the holiday party this year -- hubby decided to take me yarn shopping after xmas when all i asked for was yarn & hooks, lol. i learned when i was probably 7 to 'finger-crochet' was what she called it, but i never got beyond the chain. then some time ago i started taking some books out of the library, one book in particular i finally had to buy when the library lady started giving me funny looks, heh. i've tried teaching my son how, but he's a lefty with no patience. now that he's 12...i think it's a lost cause, lol. anyway, that's me in a teeny nutshell =]
