Hi everyone, this is the first time I have ever joined a forum. I finally found a forum that I think I will enjoy :bounce

I got a crochet learning kit for christmas 2003 gift and I've been crocheting away since then. Still have lots to learn. I still can never get my gauge to match the pattern :blush

Hope to learn more here and meet new friends who share the same hobby

Nice to meet you :D! So, what project are you working on right now? I have several half-way projects on my hand. The latest thing I am making is a granny square tote bag. Although I'm thinking of converting it to a pillow case instead :hee

The whole gauge thing baffled me at first too. Practice practice practice. Switching hooks a size up or down sometimes (often) helps. Good luck! :fc
