One of my favorite Afghans

This is one of my favorite afghans. It was a pain to do but once it was done it is beautiful. Hanging it over a door was my dh idea and I haven't retaken the picture. I will do it one of these days.

Very pretty! I made one with the same pattern but used a cream, plum, and sage (and made it bigger to fit a king-sized bed) and just love how it turned out.

Great job with yours :D

How long did it take you to do? It's really beautiful. My step-father has a ripple afghan that's about a zillion years old in horrible colors (bright orange, bright green, brown, ick). He won't get rid of it, to my mother's dismay, because "someone put a lot of time into it". It isn't sentimental, he bought it at a garage sale for a few dollars. I aspire to make one for him in colors that actually match their decor, in exchange for the icky one. So far, I've only made a scarf...hmmm...maybe I should try a few more scarves first?:rofl
