Here's a purse I just finished. I used vintage 100% Wool from a thrift store, and vintage velvet for the lining that came from my husband's grandmothers leftover box of fabric from her hat making days. I just love the way it turned out.

I felted the purse before lining it. I just think it turned out wonderful, so I had to share

I think the pictures wont show up because you have to be a member of msn groups in order to view the photos - that's what I see from trying to go to where your images are located. If you use a photo album that is open to all, then we'll be able to see your pictures (psst...photo bucket is a good free one! ;) )

Yeah.. its an old butcher block table top with the foot of an old Singer sewing machine peddle/base attached to the bottom.. Found the foot at a thrift store for 3 bucks, the table top is from the trash down the street. (We have a "large pick up day" every six months in town, and I cruise the streets early in the morning, asking my neighbors if I can have their trash out on the curb. everyone says yes. )

I also did this for my computer desk with a smaller butcher block and an old Wrought Iron WHITE sewing machine base.

Thanks again everyone for the compliments on my runner!
