Another doily in size 80 yarn (DMC ecru)

I have made and posted this doily pattern in size 20 thread a short while ago. Last week I started to use very thin (size 50 and size 80) thread and a hook size 0,35. As I liked this pattern with 32 rows (and the following stitches: ch, dc, htr and tr) I made the doily yesterday in size 80 thread. The size after pinning and starching is 27 cm (10,6 inch) in diameters. The size 20 thread came out in 38 cm (15 inch) in diameters.

My opinion ist that the size 80 doily does not look that it is hand made!

I agree, Veronika!  It doesn't seem to have the same handmade look!  It IS exquisite, however!
