Pink Hat

My friend was just diagnosed with mesothelioma.  I can't help her get better but I can help her fell a little better.  I crocheted this hat.  Unfortunately it was a little too big for her.  ( the thought....)   The rose on it is crocheted to a pin and she can put it anywhere.  The special point of the rose is that the thread I used was left over from Christmas ornaments made in memory of our niece that lost her battle to cancer.  I am big believer in making things with a real meaning.
