Urban Shells scarf

I finished this scarf on tuesday but forgot to post it.

 

This scarf is a late Xmas present for my Stepmom. The original scarf I made her (a replica of Luna Lovegood's scarf from Harry Potter) met a grizzley end involving a cup of tea and a clumsy Skoggy. I was devastated. So I found another scarf that wouldn't take as long but still looked really nice and I found this. Its called Urban Shells and it is found on Ravelry. There is a beanie that matches but I haven't gotten round to doing that yet.

 

The yarn I used was Patons Smoothie DK, colorway Slate, which is an interesting acrylic yarn and a 4.5mm hook.
