Ok, here goes for the month of November!! Good luck checking off those lists!

~ Work on Christmas gifts

~ 5 Owl hats

~ Baby shower gifts ~ due by 11/6!! :check

~ Stocking Stuffer Swap :check

~ Holiday Gift Exchange :check

~ 2 baby blankets per a request :check

~ 4 RAOKs :check :check :check :check :check :check :check (each time I send one I'll add a check mark)

~ Squares for my friends comfortghan (hoping to deliver for Christmas!)

well let's see right now another small list since I have to now work on a research paper for political science still not sure what my topic should be for that class:think.

 

1. weave in ends to 3 dishcloths

2.sew 2 squares together for my daughter's blanket

3. possibly work on my blanket

4.make a draft dodger for the door.

Yeah, October didn't go so well, but I blame the fact we had a ~9 day trip to my in-laws for that :D

 

In November, I will:

 

  • Make Emma's fleece & flannel blanket (faster sewing than crocheting)
  • Make Zach's fleece & flannel blanket (faster sewing than crocheting)
  • Make April (their godmother) a pair of cow slippers - 0/2 slippers done
  • Send out my Winter Scarf Swap package
  • Finish my neighbor's hooded scarf (one third done)
  • Make myself a pair of fingerless gloves
  • Make my mother a pair of fingerless gloves
  • Finish the pair of socks from Karen's sock class here at the 'Ville - 0/2 socks done

 

Yes, my mother's fingerless gloves that I mentioned in September never even got started.

Tiffany, thanks for starting the CAL. :)

 

In November, I will finish the Christmas gifts and continue making scarves to donate.

 

I always enjoy the beginning of colder weather, winding down from gardening, and taking up more crocheting.

Hi! This is my first time joining a monthly thread. You all seem to crochet much faster than I, so my list is not nearly as ambitious! (That, and I spend more time reading about crocheting than actually doing it lately!)

 

  • Shawl for mom DONE! (this went much faster than I thought, so I will get one for my daughter completed too.)
  • Shawl for daughter
  • Scarf for mom
  • Scarf for daughter
  • Hat for mom
  • Hat for daughter

Amigurumi part of the shower gift is just needing eyes & sewn together!

 

Sent a package of squares out yesterday so 1 RAOK ...

 

Thinking of revamping my Christmas list a smidgen.. Just planning on a couple different things..

 

Progress made this month! Already ahead of last month! Woot! :cheer

In November I will.....

  • Daisy squares. I have 13 left till i have enough for a afghan.
  • Assemble Daisy square afghan.

  • Hats and scarves for my kidos for Christmas.


I can't work on the kids hats at home they don't even know what color they are of if they are even getting them. The squares are for a friends Christmas present.

* finish Hawaiian blue blanket

 

* finish swap "things" (they are sooo cute!)

I finished the squares for the afghan!!!! While I was at work I also finished one hat and scarf. Now to assemble the squares and make two other hats and scarves!! The squares are in the washer. I went ahead and washed them before I put them together, I bought some of the verigated yarns in it at a second hand store, I want to make double sure that there is not any wool in them before I assemble it.

well by my list not doing too bad. Though it will be a busy weekend because I have a research paper for government due on the 1st of December and I also have a rough draft due for English class plus the government teacher gave us a take home test busy holiday.

You're doing fantastic this month!!! I really blew it this month. I just couldn't get my act together and it shows. I'm trying to make Christmas presents and they are coming along but at a sort of unorganized pace! :lol The list really helped me in Sept and Oct. You think I would have learned! :blush

I have the pink flannel-ghan put together now I have to buy more yarn to trim it. The Hawaiian Blue I really haven't touched :blush and I'm just finding more and more fun stuff to crochet in my swap basket.
