Hello all... I'm hoping someone can steer me in the right direction... I am looking for a multicolored yarn that is Red, White, and Black... Can anyone tell me if such a multicolored yarn exists, what it's called, and who it's made by???

Thanks for looking...

Ooh, that is something I would love to see. I am also surprised no one has done that combination. I sometimes wonder where they get their ideas for some of the variegated I have seen.

Maybe we should email the yarn companies. You never know.

I was looking for a red & black variegated for an afghan for my sister. No one made one ( this was 2 years ago.). I just made a double stranded one in red and black. I would of used the lava one, but it wasn't out. I bought RH Lipstick, and returned it as it was more pink than red

Red, white & black yarn: Here is one you can order: http://www.shopatron.com/products/productdetail/Vinga+Print+-+Red,+White+%26+Black/part_number=11-40653/546.0.1.1.22326.22358.0.0.0?pp=8&

Here is one on Etsy: http://www.etsy.com/listing/83424193/red-white-black-copper-twist-ice-custom?ref=sr_list_3&ga_includes%5B0%5D=tags&ga_search_query=red+white+black+yarn&ga_search_type=all&ga_facet=

Or.... you could get the Red Heart Zebra yarn (black & white) http://www.amazon.com/Red-Heart-Super-Saver-Yarn/dp/B001B2RISI and then add a strand of red. You could even add a thinner strand of red -- like sport yarn so that it does not come off too red.

There is also a discontinued yarn called Weird & Twisted: http://www.ravelry.com/yarns/library/weirdtwisted-white-as-snow-red-as-blood-and-black-as-ebony you might be able to find some on etsy, Ravelry, or ebay.

This pattern on Ravelry: http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/black-white-and-red-all-over used a Lorna's Laces Shepherd Worsted Variegated Red, white & black yarn. I could not find the color that looked exactly like what she used ... maybe Embers?

Looking for something entirely different, I ran across some more red, white and black yarn. It looks very nice. Her prices are good, the shipping hurts a little but if she will combine the shipping with other purchases, it should be fine. http://www.ebay.com/itm/RAINBOW-GLITZ-1090-D-KNIT-KNITTING-WOOL-NEW-/170416667134?pt=UK_Crafts_Knitting_Crochet_EH&hash=item27ad9ff9fe#ht_817wt_952 It is really pretty!

Re. the Ravelry/Lorna's Laces pattern. At the bottom, the pattern talks about the number of skeins of the LL Multi needed and the number of skeins of the LL Solid needed. The close-up of the fabric seems to show a multi-colored white/gray/black with a solid red stitched over it to give the red, white & black effect. Very nice effect, too--at the prices of Lorna's Laces :faint --I would hope for a "very nice effect"! whoa...

Hope you find what you're looking for!
