Sue's famous Stash Buster Tote uses a K hook. :) Everyone that makes it becomes addicted. :)

Actually, I use a K hook a lot! I'm one of those tight crocheters, so I usually have to go up at least 2 hook sizes for a pattern. For worsted weight yarn, I usually have to go up to a J hook, but sometimes I have to use a K hook.

I usually use a K when I am using two strands of yarn together. It works well for this.

I have used either a K or an N for a pair very lightweight, summery Seraphina Shawls for my mother. This was with sport weight yarn so you can see I deliberately pushed the gauge way up to achieve drapey little shawls. They turned out pretty and exactly the weight she wanted.

Great idea! I didn't think of this!

Thanks ladies!

I found a K hook when I was going through my drawers earlier looking for some yarn & figured I'd try something with it sometime!
