Ads vs. Patterns in a magazine

Is it me, or do you all find, too, that the crocheted items in the ads of a magazine are sometimes better than the actual patterns being featured? I find this is often true of both crochet and knitting magazines...

Have to agree with you, Pam. Sometimes the magazines don't have a single thing I'm interested in, even with color changes; other months I want to make EVERYTHING.

I agree. My daughter has noticed the same thing with her knitting magazines.

Often my favorite part of a fiberart magazine is the ads!

the ads are actually sometimes why I end with a new magazine....especially when they are really cute or an adaptation of another pattern....like how to dress a doll in another way

I have noticed that also. Today I was flipping through one of my crochet magazines and thought the ads were nicer than this months patterns.
