An easy and fun cloche

I'm new to this thread crochet and am loving it. Who would think after 35 yrs of crocheting. Anyway, this is a pattern from one of my e-zines I purchased recently (a yr along with 2 previous yrs), not sure if it was in Crochet World or Crochet! I knew DD would love it because she loves the 20's flapper look. Anyway, she and her family just got here today from out of town and couldn't wait to have her model it so I could take a picture. She loves it and hasn't taken it off for hours.

 

This was an easy pattern and fun, size 3 thread and E hook.

Thanks everyone.....and as far as fast progress in learning thread crochet....I've crocheted for 35-36 yrs and have done a lot of it, so it was more a matter of training my brain and fingers to handle thread intstead of yarn. The rest just follows along, though I know I have a lot to learn about thread yet.
