Ok yeah for me I learned how to make ripples but now I'm wondering what can be made with ripples other than afghans?

I am making a ripple afaghan for one of my brothers.

It is turning out nicely.

I haven't done one of those in years and it is quite fun.

On the back of Crochet Today (latest issue) is a picture of a really pretty shawl or wrap called Ripple Flecks Wrap from http://www.redheart.com It says its from a booklet called Let's wrap so its probably not a free pattern but if you know ripples you could probably make up your own.

I've seen scarves made with the ripple pattern. They work up nice and fast.

Scarves, hats, shawls, potholders, placemats...have you tried a round ripple? Those are pretty fun as well and if you use two strands and a large hook it goes rather quickly.

Rectangular shawl. Make your ripple at least 6 feet long and as wide as you like.
