divine hat

i made this hat yesterday from a pattern called divine hat. i love how the fpdc swirl but in general the hat is a bit to open for me personally. I know i will find someone who will love it. the more i look at the hat the more i think i may try it again but with a smaller hook. i used a j and h the first time. maybe if i make it a bit tighter the holes will be smaller.

I love the design! You did a great job on it too! I imagine you could use smaller hooks and add rows to make it more to your liking.I think I will have to give this a try myself

Yours Turned out really good. I made one also and gave it to my neighbor for Christmas and she showed it to her daughter that she wanted one too, she just bought the yarn and I made it for her.

very pretty hat. I usually avoid fp an bp, but I think it's time to break down and get comfortable with them. There are so many beautiful things made from them. I used to avoid crab stitch, but finally this winter I have mastered it and love it, so maybe that will encourage me to move on to a new technique. Sorry to have blabbered on.....That hat just got me going!! TFS!
