Project Linus blankets

Here are links to the two Project Linus blankets my mom has made the past 2 weeks while visiting me on vacation. The first is made from a lovely sea mist Wintuk and is very thick and warm; the second is blue and white and made from Jamie yarn. I think they're beautiful! I bought some lovely yellow baby boucle this weekend to make my first Project Linus blanket.

Thanks all, Mom's been tickled pink to read your comments. She's already at work on blanket no. 3. I thought she'd want a rest, but I forgot that out here in AZ, her arthritis doesn't bother her, so her fingers and wrists aren't tired or painful. I think she's getting a kick out of learning to read the patterns, too. Will post a photo when she gets this one done, too, which, at her pace, should be, oh, maybe tomorrow afternoon. (She is, after all, retired and on vacation. )
