Suggestions for RR

MaryC/TX

Question

I am going to do a RR in crayola colors - red, green, blue, and yellow. I thought it would be nice to separate the colors and thought of using a row of white or black. Which do you think would look better?

I vote black. Is the red/green/blue/yellow a variegated? If it were, I'd first choose one of the colors in the variegated to separate it, if not, then black is a good choice. When you have real bright colors, black sets them off well.

Black would really make the crayon colors stick out. It would only be a round or two to separate the colors, so working with the black shouldn't be too bad.

Please post pics when done - we would love to see it!

Chris, your RR is beautiful. Thanks for posting the picture.

I believe BLACK is the right choice. Thanks everyone.

Thanks! I have seen it with white too, but I do favor the black.

If you do the first color 6 rows....then a black row, each of the other colors are 5 rows, and all of the black rows end up being the small shell in points

Chris, I counted your rows and I had the number of each row correct. I appreciate all your help and can hardly wait to start this one.

You're welcome! I want to make another one using pastels....with white or soft white in between.

Chris
