I did some searching, and those particular sizes (3, 4.5, and 7) are not typical. However, I did find some Hiya Hiya brand hooks that are aluminum. They carry "in-between" sizes. There is CD (3mm), GH (4.5mm), and KL (7mm). They have a website that links you to "Shopatron" where you can purchase them. They are $2.99 plus (S&H ~$4.00). http://hiyahiyanorthamerica.com/crochet-hooks-c-43.html
  3. Wow, that has to be the most amazing afghan I have ever seen You rock!
  4. Awww, too cute! My heart just melted
  5. I think I shall resolve to upgrade my crochet skills. I want to learn thread and bead crochet. I have so much lovely thread and have a difficult time using it. I'm currently working on my first doily (I can imagine how that will turn out...it already looks funny). Of course I had to choose the most difficult supplies to work with: black size 10 thread and a size 7 hook. Maybe after I can get a hang of that, learn filet crochet. Also finish that darn scarf that I have been kn*tting for almost two years.
  6. Wow! That's amazing. Great job, she'll love it.

  10. Count me in, too! I plan to do a large granny square with the 7 colors of the rainbow (Roy G. Biv). So I plan to do one color for every 10 lbs for a total of 70lbs in 2009. Best wishes and good luck everyone
  11. Very nice, love the color. How big is it?
