One of the ladies in my knit/crochet group has one of these. She loves it,she has made several hats, scarves and a really nice wine bottle cover with it. It fascinates me as well I might have to wait until I see one on sale again and pick one up. :)

I noticed these at walmart.

Doing a search I found this with a variety of looms and yarns.

And here's some basic instructions on how to use it

And on Flickr Knit Wit

Lots of pictures. I love this Shawl which is knit wit and crochet.

http://www.knitting-and.com/small-looms/ is a page with TONS of info and pages with patterns

here's a video from a shopping channel and it shows some projects too. Go up to 7 minutes (I fast forewarded) and it shows how to use one.

I bought one ages ago and I must admit that I've never taken it out of it's packaging either...it looks far too hard! I tried to use a normal daisy loom once and just couldn't do it.

I am a loom freak. I have so many! My husband has also made me several knitting boards too. I have the knit-wit but i have never used it. I took one look at it and scratched my head and put it back in the packaging lol.
