My First Felted Item

I've been wanting to try a felted project. I have a very small amount of wool yarn so have been looking for a small project.

 

As soon as I saw the teapot coasters in the March 2006 issue of Crochet! I knew I wanted to make them. Unfortunately, I discovered I didn't have that issue.

 

Tampa Doll rescued me by gifting it to me!

 

I love this and will make as many as I can with this bit of yarn. I hope that wool isn't too expensive because I'll now want to make one of the many felted purses I've seen!

I just felted an item yesterday--a bag done in Tunisian for the 'Ville class I am taking.
