I got this idea from some postings I saw here. I'm so thankful for the wonderful ideas, help and suggestions I find at Crochetville!

I made these for my kids teachers for Teacher's Appreciation week. They're pens.

Now I'm off to make some more sets for Mother's Day.

Hey, I'm a mother...I think I'll make a set for myself!

The backing and stem come from PlanetJune's outstanding daffodil pattern: http://www.planetjune.com/blog/free-crochet-patterns/daffodils.

I can't wait to make these!

The daffodil is free from the lion brand website (it's actually called daffodil pencil).

The colorful flower is from: http://patternsbydot.blogspot.com/2005/11/flower-pin.html.

Elmer's Glue. Couldn't think of any other way to do it! I glued the yarn to the pens in a spiral, and glued the flowers on top. I used hot glue to keep the ends of the yarn from sticking out at the bottom of the pen.
