This is a unisex burial gown I found on "God's Tiny Angels":c9. It was easy and fun to make. Pattern for charity use only, by J.A. Esterly

Thanks Debbie, I feel fortunate to be able to help and hope I'll be able to continue for a long while. At first I couldn't make one because it made me sad - then I realized I was thinking too much of self and not enought about the family going through the hurt of burying a baby.

Wow, that is so nice. I think I will try one. I am a labor/delivery nurse, and see more people than I care to mention that bury their baby. It is such a sad event for all involved, including the staff that supports the family into the grieving process. This would be a great way for a few of us nurses to put our energy into helping the family. Thanks for sharing!

I saw this pattern and I wanted to do something so I went to 2 funeral homes areund and ask them if they excepted things like that and both told me that they did not that they were provided at the hosp.so do you know if the hospitals except them?

That's where the ones I crochet go - first I mail them to God's Tiny Angels and they send them to one of the hospitals on their list.
