Materials

3oz. worsted weight cotton

G hook

4 stitch markers or pieces of scrap yarn

Gauge: First three rounds = 3 inches

You will not be joining the first two rows so you may want to use a marker. You will only be joining round 3 to give yourself a good start for the mesh portion of the bag. The mesh portion of the bag is worked in a continuous spiral. You will be using four markers in round 16 to mark the position of handles.

Special stitches;

sc decrease over 5 loops = (insert hook into loop, yo, draw up loop) in five loops, yo, draw through all the loops on hook.

Each handle will be centered over the decreases in round 13.

Leave a long tail for weaving

I was fortunate enough to test this bag and LOVE it. I get alot of comments on it. I love the fact that the handles do not stretch. Great job and pattern!:clap
