What's the skinny on Crochet Me???

People have been trying to get to Crochet Me's site for a couple of days and it does not seem to be working... looks like a server issue or something.

 

Does anyone know what is happening?

 

Is it going down or just MIA?

The same happened to me yesterday when I was trying to get the BICO pattern. Never could get crochetme site to open. However, I went to Crochet Pattern Central and went to the baby section and BICO is there and the link opened and I got a copy of the pattern. You might give that a try.

 

I would like to know what the deal with Crochet Me site is though.

I wasn't really worried about getting the pattern as I have it already... I was more concerned about Crochet me. It is a great place and I would hate to see it down for any length of time.

 

I did try the CPC link yesterday and it didn't work then... hmnnn

Just got a reply back from Kim that her site host was experiencing some server problems. They are aware of the issue, and are trying to get things fixed as quickly as they possibly can.

Looks like the site is loading fine right now. But I have also noticed that since they changed the site around, the links changed. Usually the old links seem to go to the new page but once in a while it doesn't.

Nobody will able to find Crochet Me links on CPC at the current time - I blocked them from appearing in the database - but they'll be unblocked as soon as I found out Crochet Me is back up and running.

 

(I read through the post Empress referenced and Amy said that Kim said that there are server issues that will be resolved as soon as possible.)

 

I was reading Kim (Crochet Me Owner's) blog before it went down and I think she's in Colorado doing the finishing touches on the spring Interweave mag, so she's pretty busy. (And there may not be much she can do about it...this is spoken by a website owner. )

Yes, I unblocked the links on CPC yesterday and randomly tested a few to make sure they were the same... am waiting on my Sun. morning link check to make sure they're all good.
