Crossover Scarf

I'm a fledgling designer and here's my premiere design, a scarf easy enough for advanced beginners. My goal was to incorporate texture for added interest.

was looking at close range and it looks like you just do a chain to desired length, DC one side and then up the opposite side and the probably round off the ends and do the X's stitches and maybe 1 more of DC's. Then have the option to add a shell border or not.
