...my 11 yo dd asked me last night to teach her to crochet!! :clapI tried teaching her once before, but she just got frustrated and couldn't seem to grasp the whole concept....then I taught myself to knit [VERY, VERY basic, believe me!!], and I taught her, and she picked that up pretty quickly. She didn't really knit anything, but she "knew" how to do it, and didn't seem interested in crochet...until last night!

 

I was so excited, and sat right down with her, a J hook, and some WW yarn. She did pretty good, and I have hope for her again! :crocheting

 

Sort of made my day, I'll tell you that! :hook

Congratulations! Maybe now that she's a bit older, she'll be able to grasp how to crochet. Be sure to post anything she makes.
