Working Vertical or Horizanital?

i guess it depends on how badly i want to "see" progress. if im in a hurry i'll go vertical as its more satisfying to my eyes to see it grow.

otherwise i'd probably go horizontal too its jus that when you go horizontal, it takes so long to see the pattern emerging!

 

i do loads of edgings and those i definitely prefer vertical.. my measurements tend to go haywire if i go horizontal.. but then i dont see that problem with a scarf..

I voted vertical but I really think the next one I do will be horiz. I usually do dc so I am thinking about doing one this way ~ I hate turning chains.

I like the chain a million - horizontal? It seems to go faster cuz I'm not turning the work a million times. Also, it seems to drape better, but that could all be in my mind. . . .

I like ti chain a million also, then I don't have to turn a million times, just chain a million times. seems to go faster.

I prefer horizontal, once you get the number chained, then it almost becomes a no brainer. A good project to make while watching TV

I also do them both ways, but I have been doing them vertical for the last year and I can whip them out a lot faster. Since most of mine are gifts or for charity...fast is a good thing.
