Skinny Winter. A Tubular Scarf.

Recommended Posts

This is a basic tunisian simple stitch project. Crocheted in a flat piece then whipstitched along the edge to form a tube, it's a fun, quick gift for yourself or loved ones.

The free pattern is available on my site, The Crochet Side.

I LOVE the colors you used. I just may have to do this scarf - it looks like it could be wonderful done in any number of different yarns, for different looks.

GREAT JOB!

Thanks for sharing.:hook

Is this a good beginner tunisian project? I haven't tried that stitch yet.

TSS (tunisian simple stitch) is usually the first stitch one learns when learning Tunisian.

If you're comfortable with mild shaping (increasing and decreasing), then this would be a good beginner project. If you don't want to mess with it, then skip the beginning and end section of the pattern having to do with the points of increase and decrease. You'll end up with a long rectangle, but you can always add fringe at both ends to dress it up.

To everyone else, thanks so much! :)
