Bisbee, AZ Fiber Arts Festival in October

The Bisbee Fiber Arts Guild is hosting their Fiber Arts Festival the weekend of October 6 in beautiful Bisbee, AZ. Admission free. I'm not sure what will be there, but Bisbee is a fun town to visit even without the possibility of some yarn! http://www.bisbeefiberarts.com/coming%20events.htm

Hey Hey! My sister in law lives in Sierra Vista, not that far from Bisbee....I should get her down there but she is planning on coming up here to Montana sometime in October. Maybe the last week of it...so she better mosey on down there for me and take pictures......

Looks like I will have to plan a little day trip. Good thing I have family in Tucson. Makes it a bit easier than driving down from Phoenix and back.

I'm hoping to get there for the afternoon myself, as the pupgirl and I are going to be manning the Delta Society booth at Responsible Dog Ownership Day here in Tucson. (Are we nerds or what? LOL) Naturally that's the same day, but I've requested the early morning shift because pupgirl is so furry and it can still be hot in Tucson in October. Yup, Bisbee sure is fun and has some great food, too, so anyone who can should explore this little corner of AZ.

 

Hmm, maybe I should just go straight there with pupgirl in tow. She'd keep me from spending too much on yarn since I'd have to be holding her with one hand (thus one less hand for yarn petting).

 

One of us who goes should write a little review for Amy for the next podcast. What do you think? Patty

We went to Bisbee last yr for the first time We stayed in Tombstone took our 3 dogs in the stroller & walked the shops We had a great time
