I think its a great idea, honestly didn't know there were laptop covers.... I wonder if the ones they sell have a vent for over the fan area?? Its great, as stated above, for when its off! You did a great job designing it!

 

If you could factor in a mesh or something for the vent you could make a bunch of them in different colors and then have a laptop for any mood:yay :yay

Yeah you can get all kinds of covers. I've never seen it written that they can't be used when the computer is on though.

 

I'm planning on making more in different colors and patterns.
