I'm wondering if it's the same or close to Handicrafter. It looks about the same online but I haven't seen any in person yet; and both are Bernat.

It's marvelous and absolutely soft and squashy. I can't make myself knit/crochet with plain old sugar & cream or handcrafter anymore.

Reading that now it looks like I said I hadn't seen cottontots in person.

It's the Handicrafter I haven't seen.

I have a pattern that calls for Handicrafter and I'm wondering if I could cottontots instead.

This Cotton Tots is softer then Bernat? I love how soft Bernat is. Shocked to hear anything can be softer. They must be expensive?

Cotton tots is made by bernat, & its made to go against babys skin. Its not that expensive, around $3 a skein I think.
