On-the-Go Bag

[missamorphosis]

This is the pattern from the Interweave Crochet Spring 2007 magazine called the "On-the-Go" bag. I used a bulkier yarn than the pattern called for, which was also varigated, so I didn't have to switch colors every couple of rows. It only took a matter of a few hours to complete, and it's a project I'll probably do again.

 

This is also my first felted project, and I'm really happy with how it turned out. It's so cool to see how much the crochet changes with little soap and hot water.

The charm is actually just some beads added to the ends of the cording.
