Miles of goodness

I know we all love Memc82/Fiber options, but I just had to crow over this <a href="http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8108468623" target="_new">Stupendous Yarn</a> that came in the mail yesterday.

It is so incredibly soft and there is so MUCH of it <img border=0 src="http://img28.photobucket.com/albums/v84/crochetville/faint.gif" /> The cone measures 10" across <img border=0 src="http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/eek.gif" />

I bought it to make a ghan for my sister who lives in FL. I figured a cotton blend would be more comfy. I think I'll use some of the leftover (there will certainly be leftover...) for chemo caps. Again, the blend will be a little more breathable.

There are 3 more cones listed. This is the only color she has up now, but it's a lovely color. Subtle shade changes & it's kind of speckly. Yum!

I have noticed the similarity in yarns. When I buy from NuMei, I buy the large quantities they have. I just bought almost a 5 lb cone of boucle yarn for $6.50. It's about 800 ypp. I am careful when I buy, trust me, I look for quality and quantity.

I do prefer Melanie because you get so much of it. I originally bought small lots from NuMei, but have since learned!

hehehe...i was just reading this thread when someone knocked at my door!! It was the UPS man with my yarn from Melanie!! I ordered two cones of Ruby chennille and one of petal pink chennille. They are lovely!!! I will definately be ordering from her again as soon as I can!!! Great way to build your stash quickly.

My second order should be here today - I got four colors of acrylic and cotton chenilles in two orders. She has such a wide selection, it's really easy to find what you need. :D!

I did it again

<a href="http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=8172498388&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT" target="_new">Blue horizon</a> and <a href="http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=8173978493&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT" target="_new">Peachy Keen</a>

Now, the blue horizon looks kind of pricy but it is an ENORMOUS amount of yarn <img border=0 src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v84/crochetville/help.gif" /> It reminds me of the recycled sari yarn look, but this is very soft & not unravely. The peach yarn is a smidge darker than the picture, not in a bad way, and is soooo so soft.

She has some really interesting yarns up now. Still lots of chenille, but some other unusual stuff that you will not find in the stores
