I made this because I couldn't find a nice one in the stores - I like it pretty well. My poor plant needs help, though.

It is a raffia yarn that I found at a lys. It is strawlike but the wrapper says 100% viscose. I love it, I wish they had more but it is discontinued.

 

It is a very easy pattern to follow.

That is really nice .. I"ll have to try find something thats not so stretchy. One thing I do for my plants is once a week ... I save the water from my cooked veggies, let that cool and then give some to each plant.

That is so cool. Hey give your plant a vacation, by putting it outside for a while. Let it get some natural sun and air for a time. Perks them right up.

Love your idea and you did a great job! Have you tried putting your plant in your bathroom to get the steam from showers? It really helped my waundering jew and spider plants when they looked like they were on the verge of disaster. I just set them in there for about 3 days and they were revived again! Also if it's a spider plant (that is what it looks like int he pic) I read on the net they like to dry abit in the winter months and stay moist in the spring and summer by putting peat moss on top of the dirt.
