my 8 year old wanted a gift for her teacher and his assistant, but we have a very tight budget, so I made him a cool dudes hat...(he is quite a cool teacher, and younger than me!) and I made female assistant and hat and scarf set......

I know what you mean. I'm making my dd's teacher's end of year gifts. They are both getting blankets. I spend all of 15 for material and yarn. And I actually only had to buy material for one blanket as I already had enough for one. That way they get nice gifts without us going broke.

 

I love those gifts. I'm sure the teachers will be very appreciative.
