Care Bears

crochetdiva

Question

I just ordered a pattern from Mary Maxim to crochet Care Bears. I am glad they are making a come back. Anyway I am looking to buy a cross stitch book on care bears. I tried E-bay, but it was way too much $$$. Does anyone know where I could find one? Or even a plastic canvas one? Thanks.:ducky

There is a programe you can buy to turn any picture/gif/jpeg/anything scannable into a cross stitch pattern. They have them in Walmart I know (i work there) however there are many online. No free ones that I could find though. If you Cross stitch alot, it may be worth it, the one at our Walmart is right around 20 bucks I think.

I found a freeware program a while back, but never really got a chance to use it, because I don't have Windows on my computer. <img border=0 src="http://img28.photobucket.com/albums/v84/crochetville/blush.gif" />

I have heard from other people that it works well. It's called <a href="http://www.spiritone.com/~enegus/index.shtml" target="_new">Print 'N Stitch</a>. The web addresses mentioned in the help files are wrong. I sent the authors an E-mail, but never heard from them.

Just in case anybody decides to download it, the color cards are here: <a href="http://www.stitchers-paradise.com/Color_Cards/images/Anchor.jpg" target="_new">Anchor</a>, <a href="http://www.stitchers-paradise.com/Color_Cards/images/Dmc.jpg" target="_new">DMC</a>
