Apple hat

Hello ya'll! I'm searching for a crochet pattern for a children's apple hat. Can anyone help? :thinking2

 

I would like to make an apple hat..and maybe a matching red scarf with a worm, !

Thank you for your reply. When I went to the Crochet Pattern Central site, I did a search for "Love Hat" and one link popped up. But when I tried to go to that one link, only a blank page pops up. :eek2

 

So, I'm going to give it a whirl tomorrow...see how it goes!

the simple part is..you make a regular little hat out of red...then

add a brown stem and two leaves.. viola! apple hat

Thank you for alerting me to your search problem. I have absolutely no idea what is going on but hopefully we can find the problem and fix it soon!

I know what happened (although that still doesn't explain why the link is in my database and not functioning correctly): If I remember correctly, the designer of that pattern found that sombody was illegally selling copies on e-bay and decided to stop offering it on-line. She took it down from her website and contacted Craftown also. (I read this on another crochet forum.)

I'm going to try to just "make up" a hat pattern for an apple. I want it to be a single crochet stitch, maybe with an H hook and a rolled brim. I can "see" it in my head (my Psychometrical tech husband would love me saying that..he does Neuropsych testing for the military). I'll try to come up with something
