What do you do with a doily?

I've never done it, of course, but I've always thought a doily framed between two pieces of clear glass would be a very pretty suncatcher.

I like to frame mine some of the smaller ones I use as coasters. I am painting my bed room so I am making some round doilies in different sizes and will just hang them on the wall. Still trying to figure out how to hang them without frames.

lots of spray starch... and a nail/pin/something (painted the walls color)

I block my doilies then sew them on the smooth side of fleece using fleece blocks then sew the fleece blocks together to make blankets. I use a double layer of fleece....makes the blanket pretty and warm!!!
