Fuzzy the caterpiller

I just finished up another little felted animal.

 

I used this pattern:http://www.crochetville.org/forum/showthread.php?t=24354

I made it exactly at the pattern is written only changing the hook size to a k using wool yarn and then felting it afterwards. It turned out pretty well but I may run it through the wash one more time.

 

If I make this again, I think I am going to make the pieces separately and felt them, then sew them together, and stuff it then. It just seems to work better to stuff after felting rather than before.

What a cute little toy he is:bounce....I liked it when I first saw the pattern, but FELTING it was a great idea:idea It really turned out quite lovable:bheart And thanks for the tip that felted items should be felted first and then stuffed.....Who Knew???? I think it is adorable..and stuffing after felting seem to make sense to me though I have yet to felt anything...it is the fear in me.
